Chinese Medical Massage

Chinese Medical Massage - Tui-Na is a form of Chinese treatment, which is an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is being used for over four thousand years. It is translated as "push-grasp" or "poke-pinch". In essence, it "massages" the specific acupressure points by hands. Its goal, like the rest of the Chinese methods, is the balancing of the body, which facilitates the healing process.

Stretching Therapy

Stretching therapy is passive form of stretch which is applied by the therapist. During the stretching session particular part of the body is placed in a position that will lengthen the muscles and associated soft tissues. Other tissues that begin to adapt to the stretching process include the fascia, tendons, ligaments, skin and scar tissue. Stretching will leave you refreshed, will increase flexibility and range of motion, improve circulation and posture, and enhance coordination, release pain and stress.

Cupping

Cupping is a method of Traditional Chinese Medicine where a partial vacuum is created inside a cup, placed on the skin. The negative pressure draws up the skin and underlying tissue. It stimulates blood flow in the area, relieves congestion and inflammation and eliminates toxins. Cupping is recommended for treatment of pain, gastrointestinal disorders, asthma, chronic cough, and many more. Ask your practitioner if cupping treatment is right for you.
